About Me!
Welcome to my page! I'm so glad we're here together! My name is Danyelle, but most call me Danny! Im 22, I have a black cat named Pagan, and I have a long-term boyfriend for the last 2 years. I was born and raised in Idaho. I have plans to someday travel around the world. I'm a dreamer, and I have big dreams and aspirations. I love my home, but I crave to see what's out there!!In my passtime I like to embroider, play video games, or work on writing for a comic that I've had in the works for a while now.I work primarily with graphite, charcoal, pen, and Clip Studio Paint. Most of my favorite subjects to draw include portraits, horses, skulls, and funky cartoon characters. A variety of media and themes influence my art. Most notably, cartoons and macabre themes.I've been drawing my entire life and have been actively involved in art classes and clubs since middle school. My high school has recognized my work throughout my time there. Currently, I've been working on a portfolio that highlights my work.I hope to be able to do art full-time either through my commission work or through tattooing.
Before we begin, please closely examine my terms of service. This is highly important so we can be on the same page about working together on your piece!

Customs open every couple of months to give me time to play catch-up.
I’m open to trying new things within reason. I am by no means a hyper realistic artist. The best I can do at this present time is semi realism and linework. I'm open to color as well within reason.I like doing florals, botanicals, American Traditional, and semi realistic portraits. If I don't feel confident in my ability to do a tattoo, I will send you in the right direction to someone who can do your tattoo. Regardless, feel free to email/text me with questions or put in a booking request and we can work something out. I appreciate all of your support!
Questions and Answers
Q: Can I see my design(s) before my appointment?
A: During the design process I will share thumbnail/mockup sketches before I start the finished work. That way I won't waste my time on something you don't like. These will be shared via email with my watermark.Taking my design to another artist to have done will get you blacklisted from my shop. Please do not be that person.HOWEVERI’m open to selling Tattoo Tickets. A "tattoo ticket" is a permission slip purchased from an artist that grants a person the right to get one of the artist's existing designs tattooed on them by a tattoo artist. It's a way for a person to support an artist they admire and for the artist to be compensated for the use of their work, even though they are not the one tattooing it. The purchase usually results in a digital download of the artwork and the permission is for personal, non-commercial use only. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible in your description and send as many reference photos as you see fit.I'll share your FINISHED design the night before/morning of, to see if there are any changes that need to be made. Do not be afraid to ask for changes. Anything after the sketching phase may take longer to change if you decide you do not like it. Please be vocal about your opinion. This is your tattoo after all.If you wish to see your FINISHED design early, it will be an extra fee. This extra fee still adds up to the total we discussed. I will share via email with my watermark.Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: Please be sure to bring your ID (birth certificate/ID and parent/gaurdian if you're a minor), Sufficient Funds (cash, card or phone) make sure to bring snacks, something for hydration and any other comfort items that you may need at your appointment (book, headphones, tablet, fidget toys). Also be prepared for the pain. So bring coping mechanisms and pain medications. I offer Bactine/tylenol but no other numbing/paint management.Q: What should I wear to my appointment?
A: Be sure to wear loose fitting clothing that allows me access to the area we will be tattooing. Also be mindful that ink potentially will get on your clothing. So wear something you are ok with getting stained.Q: What should I do before my appointment?
A: get plenty of rest, shower, eat a good meal, and stay hydrated (coffee and toast are not enough).Q: When should I arrive?
A: Please arrive anywhere from 5-15 minutes before if possible. Please do not come earlier than that unless I reach out to you saying I can bring you in sooner.Q: What happens to my deposit if i cancel my appointment or need to reschedule last minute?
A: I understand life happens but give me at least a 24 hr notice when attempting to cancel/reschedule an appointment. ESPECIALLY if you or a household member are sick. Anything less than that will forfeit your deposit and appointment. You will have to reschedule and pay a new deposit. (exceptions apply to events out of your control or prevention). You will have a 15min grace period. Please respect my time. Anything longer than that and your appointment will be canceled, your deposit will be forfeited and you will have to pay a new deposit and reschedule. You also risk being blacklisted from my shop.Q: Why do you need a deposit?
A: The deposit goes towards the total for your tattoo. Deposits are non refundable.A deposit is a way to block your time, prep your design, and for me to tell other clients no.Your deposit covers the time blocked off to do said tattoo, create custom designs, turn away other clients, and mentally preparing to sit with you for X amount of timeRefunding deposits kills tattoo shops and encourages flaky behavior, wastes drawing time, and wasted tattoo time.Time = SurvivalRefundable = UnsustainableTattooing has a cap on hours and energy. Every no-show or last-minute change cuts into the limited time we have to earn a livingQ: Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes! Please do, but please only pring 1 person with you. I have a very small space with limited seating. Also be mindful that if they are disrespecful or disruptive they may be asked to leave.Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: NO!! I only allow service animals in my shop space.Q: Do I need my ID with me at my appointment?
A: Yes. Please. If you do not have your ID with you at the time of your appointment we will have to reschedule. So please please come prepared!

After Care
Try to keep your second skin on for a few hours to around 3-5 days. Healing takes around 2 weeks, but can be longer depending. The bandage will keep foreign contaminants out of the open wound that is your tattoo.Avoid exercising or activities that cause excessive sweating; this can trap moisture and lead to infection.Be sure to drink lots of water. This will help with skin hydration. When removing the second skin, run it under lukewarm-warm water to loosen the adhesive for a few minutes. You can also do this while in the shower.Wash your hands before touching your tattoo/Remove second skinFind the corner of the second skin and pull away from your body. Try to go in the direction of hair growth and not away.If needed, run under more warm water. DO NOT rip the second skin off quickly. After you've removed the second skin, gently wash the area with warm soapy water. Be sure it's a scent-less/antibacterial soap (Dial and Dove are good choices). Scented soaps/lotions can cause bad reactions to a tattoo.DO NOT wash with a loofa or wash cloth. This ensures no fibers or particles become wedged in your skin. This can cause an infection.Avoid applying the soap directly to the tattoo. Instead, lather the soap in your hands with warm water and wash gently. After cleaning, pat dry with a clean paper towel or air dry. DO NOT rub the tattoo.Once dry, apply a very thin layer of a fragrance-free lotion/moisturizer. Applying too much can suffocate your tattoo and cause infection. Your skin shouldn't be shiny after application.I personally like Aquaphor or Vaseline (but do be careful because too much will suffocate the tattoo) But you can also try Bag Balm, Cetaphil, Lumberderm, and coconut oil.Apply moisturizer 1-3 plus times a day and wash 1-3 plus times a day.DO NOT pick or scratch at your tattoo. Let any scabs or peeling skin fall off on their own. Picking can cause ink loss, scarring, and Infection.Be sure to wear loose-fitting clothing that ensures your tattoo can breathe.Avoid direct sunlight (once fully healed, apply sunscreen)Avoid submerging your tattoo in water. (baths, swimming, hot tubs, saunas.)In the event that you do end up with an infection, seek help and follow a healthcare personnel instruction on how to treat it. It's always better to be safe than sorry. DO NOT wait for it to become worse in hopes it will become better.Signs of an infection:Increased redness
Swelling
Pain
hot to the touch
Pus
Bumps, nodules, abscesses
Fever
Chills
Fatique
Nausea
Allergic reaction (rash/itching)
Keloid formationIf you suspect that you have an infection, seek medical help IMMEDIATELY An infection can lead to sepsis or cellulitis. Both can cause death if not treated right away.
